PLUS Markets plc is a fully competitive equity stock exchange in London, offering a deep pool of liquidity across over 7,500 UK and European securities. Investment firms trade on PLUS for superior quote-driven execution at low transaction and market data cost. Companies and funds can access capital and profile in London via the PLUS-listed and PLUS-quoted markets.

Objective
For PLUS to continue to function as a marketplace they required a timely design and implementation of an interconnect to the equity trading platform. The interconnect was needed to ensure that PLUS market participants, including market makers, brokers, and data distributors would be able to access the new platform, This trading platform needed to be fully complaint with The Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) which is a European Union law passed to increase competition and consumer protection in investment services.
