The Firm has been supported by Charles Street Solutions for nearly 10 years as their systems were reaching end-of-life, the benefits of virtualisation sounded very attractive to them, especially to manage server sprawl, improve business continuity and subsequently underpin their Disaster Recovery Strategy.

Current Virtualisation
To date, the Firm have virtualised seven of their nine original physical servers. All servers are backed up to a dedicated back-up server, the remaining physical servers via Back-up Exec 11.D and the virtual servers using VMware’s Consolidated Backup routine.
